Main Responsibilities

  • Contacting existing and new customers to explain the advantages of buying their company’s products or services
  • Communicating with customers before and after a sale
  • Delivering presentations for persuading customers to buy new products or services
  • Processing sales transactions and handling
  • Resolving customer complaints and concerns
  • Handling customer enquiries, price changes and discounts
  • Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers
  • Attending training to understand industry trends

Description

Being flexible, reliable and adept at working as part of a team are the qualities of a good Sales Representative. Sales Representative have to be professional at all times. They need to have a polite attitude and a calm temperament to communicate effectively with different customers. Other desirable qualities include being enthusiastic about helping customers and solving their problems. Sales Representatives should also be confident and well organised.
